Legal information
Terms of Use
Effective date: 23 August 2026
By accessing or using Maidagencies.sg, you agree to these Terms. If you use the platform for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
1. Platform role
Maidagencies.sg provides technology for discovering employment agencies, viewing agency-managed helper profiles and sending enquiries. We are not a party to an employer-agency service agreement or an employment contract, and we do not guarantee a placement, candidate availability or outcome.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.
- Account information must be accurate, current and not misleading.
- You are responsible for account activity and must keep login credentials confidential.
- You must notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Employer responsibilities
- Verify the agency and its current MOM licence status before engaging it.
- Review candidate information and placement terms directly with the agency.
- Comply with applicable employer, work pass, safety and employment obligations.
- Use helper information only for genuine household-employment consideration and keep non-public biodata confidential.
- Do not scrape, republish, sell, discriminate unlawfully, harass or misuse any person’s information.
4. Agency listings
Each listing is supplied and managed by the identified agency. The agency is responsible for its accuracy, authority, consent, legal compliance, fees, advice, representations and placement services. Platform verification indicates only that specified checks were completed at a point in time; it is not an endorsement or guarantee.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, false, deceptive, defamatory, infringing or harmful material.
- Do not bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, introduce malicious code or disrupt the service.
- Do not impersonate another person or agency, manipulate enquiries or create fraudulent reviews or listings.
- Do not copy the platform or use automated extraction except with our written permission.
6. Enquiries and communications
When you submit an enquiry or matching request, relevant information may be sent to the selected agency or participating agencies. Your dealings with an agency are your responsibility. Marketing messages remain subject to applicable consent and Do Not Call requirements.
7. Intellectual property
The Maidagencies.sg platform, design, software, trademarks and original content belong to us or our licensors. Agencies and users retain ownership of submitted content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt for display and publish it as needed to operate and promote the service, until removal subject to reasonable backup and legal retention.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, impose reasonable technical limits, or perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Disclaimers
Information on the platform is general and may not be complete or current. Users should confirm requirements with MOM, the relevant agency or a qualified adviser. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maidagencies.sg is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or opportunity, or acts and omissions of agencies, employers, candidates or external providers. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or S$100 if you paid nothing, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, platform rules or law have been breached, or where necessary to protect users or the platform. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions intended to survive termination will continue.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Singapore law. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting either party’s right to seek urgent protective relief.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the revised version with a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the platform or account email. Questions may be submitted through our contact page.
