Legal information
Agency Platform Agreement
Effective date: 23 August 2026
This Agreement applies between Maidagencies.sg and the employment agency accepting it. The person accepting confirms authority to bind the agency.
1. Agency eligibility and approval
- The agency must hold every MOM employment agency licence required for its activities and keep the licence active.
- Registration and verification information must be complete, accurate and current.
- Approval is discretionary and may be withdrawn if verification fails, a licence lapses, or platform standards are breached.
- The agency must promptly notify us of regulatory action, suspension, ownership changes or facts materially affecting its eligibility.
2. Account administration
The agency is responsible for its owners, staff users, credentials and all activity under its account. It must remove access promptly when personnel leave or no longer require it and maintain accurate public contact information.
3. Listings and helper authority
- The agency must have documented authority and all required consent from each helper candidate before uploading, publishing or sharing her data, photograph, video or documents.
- Public listings must contain only information permitted by MOM rules and applicable law. Full biodata and restricted personal information must not be publicly accessible.
- Listings must be accurate, current, respectful and non-discriminatory, and updated or removed promptly when a helper is no longer available.
- The agency must use applicable MOM forms and satisfy its own disclosure, service-agreement, work pass and placement obligations.
- On request, the agency must provide reasonable evidence of consent, authority, licence status and listing accuracy.
4. Platform licence
The agency retains ownership of its content and grants Maidagencies.sg a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format, translate, display and distribute that content solely to operate, secure, market and improve the platform and any agency child website included in its plan. The agency warrants that this use does not infringe another person’s rights.
5. Data protection responsibilities
Each party must comply with the PDPA and other data-protection requirements applicable to its activities. The agency is responsible for notices and consent covering its submission and use of helper and employer data. Maidagencies.sg may process agency-submitted data to provide, secure and support the platform. The agency must immediately report suspected unauthorised access, privacy complaints or data incidents affecting platform data and cooperate with investigation and notification duties.
6. Enquiries and conduct
- Use employer enquiries only to respond to genuine placement requests and related lawful services.
- Do not sell enquiry data, send unauthorised marketing, or disclose it to unrelated parties.
- Respond professionally and provide accurate information about fees, availability and services.
- Do not manipulate rankings, create fake enquiries or circumvent platform controls.
7. Plans, limits and child websites
The Free plan permits up to 30 active helper listings per agency. Paid plans, limits and features are described on the pricing page and may include additional listings, advanced tools and an agency child website under Maidagencies.sg. A child website remains part of the platform and does not transfer ownership of the Maidagencies.sg domain or technology. Custom domains, bespoke development and third-party costs require separate written agreement unless expressly included.
8. Fees, renewal and taxes
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance at the displayed billing interval and renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The agency authorises our payment provider to charge the selected payment method. Except where required by law or expressly stated, fees already paid are non-refundable.
9. Review and moderation
We may review, reject, unpublish, edit for formatting, restrict or remove content that appears inaccurate, stale, unauthorised, unlawful or inconsistent with platform standards. We may request supporting documents. Moderation does not transfer the agency’s responsibility for its content to us.
10. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving notice, subject to any active billing commitment. We may suspend or terminate immediately for serious or repeated breach, non-payment, security risk, regulatory concern, licence suspension or harm to a helper, employer or the platform. On termination, public listings may be removed and data retained or deleted in accordance with legal and operational requirements.
11. Confidentiality
Each party must protect non-public business, technical and personal information received from the other and use it only for this Agreement, except where disclosure is authorised or legally required.
12. Agency warranties and indemnity
The agency warrants that it is authorised, licensed and compliant; its content and services are lawful and accurate; and it has all necessary rights and consents. To the extent permitted by law, the agency will indemnify Maidagencies.sg against third-party claims, regulatory action, losses and reasonable costs arising from the agency’s listings, placement activities, breach, infringement or unlawful handling of personal data.
13. Platform warranties and liability
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee enquiry volume, search ranking, placement results or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under this Agreement will not exceed fees paid by the agency during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, except where prohibited by law.
14. Governing law and general terms
This Agreement is governed by Singapore law and the Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction. The agency may not assign it without written consent. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. These terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable plan terms and an accepted order form form the entire agreement for the platform service.
15. Acceptance and contact
The agency accepts this Agreement by registering, selecting the acceptance checkbox, purchasing a plan or using the agency platform. Keep an electronic copy for your records. Questions and formal notices may be submitted through the contact page.
