Meliza Tayco Demillo is a 28-year-old single mother from Muntinlupa City, Philippines. She is raising two children, aged 10 and 7, with dedication and love. Meliza is the seventh among eleven siblings—six brothers and four sisters—and was brought up in a closely-knit family. Her father passed away several years ago, and her mother, now 62, is a homemaker. Growing up in a large household taught Meliza the importance of responsibility, patience, and hard work—values she continues to uphold today. Meliza completed her secondary education at Gulod National High School in 2014. Soon after, she began exploring work opportunities to support her young family. In early 2015, she worked briefly as a production operator and later, from July to December 2023, as a production worker. Between 2019 and 2023, Meliza chose to focus on being a full-time, hands-on mother, ensuring that her children were well cared for during their formative years. Her experience as a domestic helper; PHILIPPINES( 2019 - 2021), she worked for a Filipino family in a three-storey, four-bedroom home. The household included a 75-year-old male elder battling cancer, a 55-year-old female employer, and their adult children, one of whom resided permanently in the home. Meliza served as an all-around helper, performing daily household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. She also played an active role in elderly care—assisting with mobility, lifting, and personal support for the ailing elder. In addition to her caregiving duties, she looked after 20 cats, showcasing her patience and love for animals. Meliza is confident and experienced in caring for children of all ages. She has strong skills in Filipino cooking and is eager to learn new cuisines. She can follow recipes well and is open to trying different cooking styles. She is also comfortable with elderly care, general housekeeping, car washing, gardening, and pet care. Currently, Meliza dedicates her time to her children and manages the household while actively seeking overseas employment, particularly in Singapore. Her motivation to work abroad stems from her deep desire to secure a better future and quality education for her children. With her solid background in caregiving, domestic work, and strong family values, Meliza is ready to take on new opportunities and serve with dedication and sincerity.
