MAICA LLANA CORDOVEZ, is 25-year-old, single mother of a 10-year-old boy and a resident of Tago, Surigao Del Sur. She is the 8th child among 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Her 70-year-old Father works as a farmer and her 64-year-old Mother is a housewife. She finished her secondary education at Ganut National High School in year 2013. She previously experienced working as a sales lady for 1 year and service crew for 6 years. Currently, she is taking care of her son while waiting for her application to be selected. She had her maid employment experiences as follows: 1. PHILIPPINES (Aug. 2015 – April 2016), she served a Filipino family living in a 2-bedroom 2 story house with a couple and 2 children ages 9 and 5. She worked as an all-around housemaid doing household chores, cooking, washing and ironing of clothes and taking care of the needs of the children. She served the family for 8 months. With her experience, she is expected to be well-versed in performing general household duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, marketing, cooking and washing the dishes. Being a mother, she is capable to take care of newborn to young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to the school. She is enthusiastic to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine. She knows how to prepare and cook Filipino dishes like adobo, tinola, afritada, pakbet, caldereta and a lot more. And she is enthusiastic to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine. She is willing to do basic gardening, car washing and pet care as well. After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA) then OWWA seminar and processing of POEA employment documents for deployment.
