Background Lyan 36 married with a 9- and 17-year-old, and she is the youngest child in the family of 6 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family, and she is from Calbayog City, Philippines. Personality She described herself as simple, patient and hardworking. Academic Qualifications She is a college graduate in BSc in Business Management. Experiences 1 year 9 months (Sep 2023 – Jun 2025) as a helper in Saudi Arabia Lyan worked in an apartment with 5-bedrooms, 3-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for a family of 3 with a 10-month-old, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she did general house cleaning chores, washed baby’s clothes, washed and cleaned the family car. She also cared for her employer’s mother for one month while she was recovering from knee surgery. (Jul 2025 – Mar 2026) Returned home, looked after her family welfare and seek new opportunities. (Apr 2026 – present) as a helper in the Philippines Lyan worked in a 2-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 3-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for a Chinese family of 4 with an 84- and 86-year-old couple with Alzheimer’s disease, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she did general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences. Cooking She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. Childcare She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In Saudi Arabia, she prepared his milk and fed him, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed him with fresh clothing and diapers, accompanied him for outdoor activities and travel abroad, attended to and assisted in his needs. Elderly Care She is keen to look after the elderly. In her previous experience, she prepared their meals, dressed them, administered their medication and vitamins, accompanied them for outdoor activities, kept company, assisted in their mobility, attended to all their needs. Pet Care She is keen to look after pets. Hand phone She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer. Off-day The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly. 2 years contract She is aware of the 2-year contract.
