Gerimae Ignacio Gallien is a 23-year-old devoted mother from Paniqui, Tarlac. She lives with her common-law partner and their three young children, aged 7, 5, and 2. As a hands-on mother, she understands the value of patience, care, and responsibility—qualities that she applies every day in raising her children. Gerimae is the eldest of two siblings (1 brother). Her father works as an ambulance driver, and her mother is currently employed overseas in Saudi Arabia as a domestic worker. Growing up, she witnessed her parents’ hard work and sacrifices, which inspired her to pursue her own path to support her family. Her mother’s dedication, in particular, motivated her to consider a similar opportunity abroad, knowing how much it could help provide a better future for her children. In terms of education, Gerimae completed her secondary schooling at Interworld Colleges Foundation, Inc. in 2017. Driven by her interest in home management and family care, she pursued a vocational course in Home Economics at Capellan Institute of Technology, where she graduated in 2020. This gave her a strong foundation in practical skills like cooking, household organization, and basic care work. She had her maid domestic work experience: PHILIPPINES (Mar 2018 to Aug 2021), she worked for a Filipino family living in a four-bedroom 2 storey house living with 3 adult and 2 elderly mobile couple age 70 (male) and 68 (female). she managed all household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, cooking, and grocery shopping. Being a hands on mother an this experience, has made her confident and capable in both childcare and household management. She is currently preparing to undergo TESDA-accredited Domestic Work NC II Training in Manila, which includes a week of in-house training covering essential domestic skills such as cleaning, washing, ironing, and more. Aside from childcare and housework, Gerimae is also willing to care for elderly individuals and persons with special needs if given the opportunity. She is eager to learn new skills, including foreign cuisines and modern household techniques, and can easily follow instructions and recipes. With her deep love for family, real-life experience as a mother, and strong domestic skills, Gerimae is ready to take on new challenges and opportunities to provide a better life for her children. The applicant is eligible for deployment only upon reaching the age of 24, on Nov. 11.
