Anna Marie Rafols Fabular is a 38-year-old married woman from Indangan, Davao City, Philippines. She is happily married to a 42-year-old company driver, and together they are blessed with a 14-year-old daughter who serves as her inspiration in life. Anna Marie is the second child among four siblings, having two brothers and one sister. She was raised in a humble family by her loving parents. Her 62-year-old mother is a housewife, while her father has already passed away. Growing up in a simple household, Anna Marie learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and compassion at an early age. Despite the challenges her family faced, she remained determined to pursue her education and improve her future. She completed her secondary education at Indangan National High School in 2004. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication course. However, due to financial difficulties, she was unable to complete her college degree. Nevertheless, her passion for learning did not stop there, and she later took a vocational course in Nursing Aid NCII to gain practical skills that would help her secure better employment opportunities. Anna Marie has both local and overseas working experience, which helped shape her into a hardworking and dependable individual. From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a call center agent in three different companies. Through this experience, she developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work under pressure. Her dedication to caring for others led her to build a career in caregiving and healthcare assistance. From October 2021 to October 2022, she worked in the Philippines as a Nursing Assistant and Caregiver at Southern Philippines Medical Center. In this role, she assisted patients with their daily needs and supported doctors in providing proper healthcare services. Her experience in the medical field strengthened her compassion and understanding toward patients, especially those requiring special attention and care. In 2022, Anna Marie was given an opportunity to work abroad in Hong Kong for a Chinese family living in a two-bedroom condominium. She worked there until 2023, serving a household composed of a couple, two elderly individuals aged 90 and 80, and a 7-year-old child. As an all-around domestic helper, she managed household chores such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and maintaining the home. She also took care of the child’s daily needs and assisted the elderly with patience and dedication. Her overseas experience enhanced her adaptability, responsibility, and ability to work independently in a foreign environment. At present, Anna Marie is working as a caregiver in a children’s hospital while patiently awaiting the opportunity to be selected for employment in Singapore. She remains optimistic and determined to achieve her dreams for the sake of her family and especially for her daughter’s future. Anna Marie is confident in cooking Filipino dishes and is willing to learn new cuisines. She can easily follow recipes and instructions and is capable of handling various household responsibilities, including childcare, elderly care, cleaning, laundry, and general housekeeping duties. Known for being compassionate, experienced, and reliable, Anna Marie is highly motivated to work as a domestic worker abroad. With her strong background in caregiving, both locally and internationally, she is well-prepared to fulfill the responsibilities expected by her future employer. Her main goal is to provide a better future for her child and to support her family financially. She is committed to performing her duties with honesty, patience, dedication, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new environments. Upon selection, Anna Marie will undergo a one-week In-House Private Training in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA seminar prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.
