Her responsibilities include caring for an infant from 4 months old and a 1-year-old child — showering (from 1 year old onwards), feeding, changing diapers, bringing/picking them up from school, and general watching over. She has also been responsible for housework and cooking for the family. Apart from these, Van also does the usual housework, laundry, and cooking. She is able to cook a variety of dishes, including ABC Soup, Bok choy with garlic, Fried rice, Omelette, Porridge, Sesame Oil Chicken, Steamed Fish, Lotus Root Soup, and Old Cucumber Soup.
