Suminar

Suminar is a 44-year-old Indonesian, married with three children aged 24, 20, and 11. She has six years of experience working in Singapore, mainly focused on childcare for three different families. She is able to converse, read, and write simple English. From 2019 to 2021, she worked with a Chinese family of four, caring for two girls aged 10 and 8. Her duties included preparing them for school, escorting them to and from the bus stop, and providing after-school care such as meals, shower, play, supervision, and companionship. She also managed household chores including cleaning, cooking, and marketing. Between 2022 and 2023, she served a Malay family of eight with six children aged 10 to 8 months. She provided full nanny care for the infant, prepared the older five children for school, walked them to and from school, and supervised their after-school routines. Household cleaning was part of her duties, while cooking was handled by the employer. From 2023 to 2026, she worked with another Malay family of four, caring for two children aged 6 and 5. She prepared them for school, accompanied them by public bus, and managed after-school routines including meals, shower, companionship, and supervision. She also cleaned the house, cooked, and did marketing. Suminar is skilled in cooking for infants, children, and adults, adjusting taste and texture to suit family preferences. She learned to prepare pork dishes from her Chinese. She enjoys cooking a variety of dishes such as braised pork, pork rib soup, steamed minced pork, steamed fish, rendang, satay, and ayam penyet. She is ready to return to Singapore to continue supporting her family financially while contributing her strong childcare experience and versatile cooking skills to her future employer.
