Ruffa Mae Corpuz Mangacoy

Ruffa Mae Corpuz Mangacoy is a 27-year-old married woman from Pinukpuk, Kalinga. She is blessed with one child, a 7-year-old son. As the eldest among four siblings, she grew up in a modest family where her father, aged 48, works as a farmer and her mother, aged 52, is a full-time housewife. Being raised in a simple household, she developed a strong sense of responsibility, independence, and dedication to family welfare at an early age. She completed her secondary education at Itawes National Agricultural & Technical School in 2016. After finishing her studies, she focused on supporting her family and later pursued overseas employment opportunities to provide a better future for her child. Singapore from January 2023 -December 2024 , she was employed by a Singaporean family residing in a 4-bedroom HDB flat. She served as the sole household helper and was entrusted with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home. Her duties included general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, marketing, and cooking. In addition, she was responsible for taking care of an 86-year-old elderly female who had hypertension and diabetes and was wheelchair-bound. She assisted the elderly in daily activities, mobility, and personal care, demonstrating patience, compassion, and attentiveness. She later worked in Hong Kong from September 2025 to November 2025 for a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom condominium. The household consisted of a couple and their two children, aged 12 and 6. In this role, she managed household chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking, while also providing care and supervision for the children. She assisted in their daily routines and ensured their safety and well-being. Ruffa Mae is experienced in both childcare and elderly care. As a mother, she is confident in handling children from newborn to school age, including feeding, bathing, preparing school necessities, and engaging them in meaningful activities. She is knowledgeable in cooking Filipino dishes and simple Chinese cuisine and is willing to learn more recipes by following instructions or recipe guides. She is known to be hardworking, reliable, and eager to improve her skills. With her solid background in household management, childcare, and elderly care, Ruffa Mae is a dedicated and dependable domestic worker.
