Raquel Rubiato Baba, 43 years old, is married to a 45-year-old construction worker and they are blessed with two children aged 16 and 15. Both of her parents have already passed away. She completed her secondary education at A. L. Navarro National High School in 1999. Raquel has several years of experience working as a domestic helper in the Middle East. From 2015 to 2017, she worked in Saudi Arabia for an Arab family living in a 3-bedroom, two-story house with a couple and their three children aged 15, 7, and 2. She was the second maid and was mainly responsible for household chores, cooking, and assisting in the care of the children. She later worked again in Saudi Arabia from 2019 to 2023 for another Arab family living in a 2-bedroom landed property with a couple and two children aged 7 and 6. As the second maid, her primary duties included housework and helping care for the children. She also worked in the UAE from 2017 to 2019, serving an Arab family in a 2-bedroom apartment with a couple and three children aged 7, 5, and 2. She worked as an all-around housemaid, performing household chores, cooking, car washing, and childcare. With her experience, Raquel is capable of performing childcare duties such as feeding and bathing children, preparing their school items, playing with them, assisting with homework, and bringing them to and from school. She is also open to taking care of elderly individuals and is willing to undergo training to provide proper care and support for their needs. Raquel can prepare Filipino dishes and simple Arab meals and is eager to learn how to cook other foreign cuisines. After selection, she will undergo in-house private training in Manila (accredited by TESDA), followed by an OWWA seminar and processing of POEA employment documents for deployment.
