KUWAIT (April 2021 to July 2023), Mary Joan worked for an Arab family residing in a four-storey home. The family consisted of a couple and two young children aged 4 and 3. She was the only helper in the household and was assigned to work primarily on the third floor where the family stayed. Her duties included general house cleaning, laundry and ironing, preparing meals for the children, and ensuring their safety and daily care. She actively assisted with feeding, bathing, dressing, and guiding the children in basic activities. With her experience as a mother and a domestic worker, Mary Joan is confident in caring for newborns, infants, and young children. She is capable of preparing meals, assisting with hygiene, supervising play and learning activities, and ensuring children’s overall well-being. Mary Joan is able to cook a variety of Filipino dishes, can follow recipe books, and has basic knowledge of simple Arabic dishes, especially those suited for children. She is also willing to learn other cuisines if given the opportunity. In addition to childcare and cooking, she is skilled in household cleaning, laundry, and ironing. She is also open to performing additional tasks such as gardening, pet care, and car washing when required by her employer.
