Janice Callo Taguiam

Janice Callo Taguiam is a 26-year-old single Filipina from Gattaran, Cagayan. She is the youngest among four siblings, with three older brothers. Her father, aged 61, is a retired member of the Philippine Army (CAFGU), while her mother, aged 57, is a housewife. Janice completed her secondary education at Calaoagan Dackel National High School in 2018. She later pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of Cagayan Valley, graduating in 2022. While studying, Janice gained valuable work experience in both domestic and service-related jobs. PHILIPPINES (2019 to 2020) she worked for a relative’s family in the Philippines as a domestic helper. The household was a four-bedroom bungalow occupied by an elderly couple aged 62 and 65, their three adult children, and one 7-year-old child. She was given the opportunity to both study and work during this time. Her main duties included general housekeeping, such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking. She also took care of the young child—attending to daily routines like feeding, bathing, dressing, and supervising activities. After completing her degree, Janice worked as a service crew member in a fast-food chain from January 2022 to January 2024, where she learned teamwork, time management, and customer service. Currently, since March 2025, she has been employed as a production operator while awaiting an opportunity to work overseas, particularly in Singapore. Janice describes herself as hardworking, patient, and responsible. She is confident in caring for young children, performing essential childcare tasks such as preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging them in educational or play activities. She is also willing to look after the elderly, if given the chance. She is capable of cooking Filipino dishes and can follow recipe books to prepare other cuisines. Eager to improve her skills, Janice is open to learning new recipes and adapting to her employer’s preferences. She takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized home environment and is dependable in performing household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing. With her educational background, practical work experience, and genuine desire to serve, Janice Callo Taguiam believes she can be a trustworthy and efficient household worker and a valuable help to any employer who will give her the opportunity to work abroad.
