Daisy Valderama Dela Cruz, 24 years old, is a dedicated young woman from Roxas, Isabela. The eldest among six siblings—four brothers and one sister—Daisy grew up in a humble household supported by her 43-year-old father, a hardworking farmer, and her 42-year-old mother, a devoted housewife. She completed her secondary education at Muñoz National High School in 2018. Shortly after, from 2018 to 2020, Daisy worked as a barbeque vendor, helping support her family while gaining early work experience. In 2020, Daisy began her career as a domestic helper in the Philippines. From 2020 to 2022, she served a Filipino family living in a one-bedroom condominium, caring for an adult and a 10-year-old child. She worked as an all-around housemaid—cleaning, cooking, assisting the child, and caring for the household dog. From 2022 to 2023, Daisy devoted her time to caring for her newborn nephew, taking responsibility for feeding, bathing, changing clothes and diapers, and ensuring the baby’s comfort and safety. Through these experiences, Daisy became highly proficient in housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, organizing, cooking, and maintaining overall household cleanliness. She is skilled in childcare and is confident in ensuring the safety and well-being of children under her care. She is also willing and keen to look after elderly individuals if given the opportunity. Daisy takes pride in her ability to cook Filipino dishes such as adobo, tinola, menudo, and pakbet, and she is eager to learn other foreign cuisines. In addition, she is enthusiastic about gardening, car washing, and pet care. Upon selection, Daisy will undergo a week of In-House Private Training in Manila, accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA seminar before the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.
