Brenda Gomez Flores is a 25-year-old Filipina from Bauang, La Union. She is married to a gasoline attendant and is a devoted mother to two children aged 10 and 3. She comes from a close-knit family and is the fourth among five siblings, with one brother and four sisters. Her father, aged 51, works as a farmer, while her 50-year-old mother is a full-time housewife. Growing up in a family that values hard work and responsibility has shaped her strong work ethic and dedication to her role as a caregiver and household manager. She completed her secondary education at Leones National High School in 2021, taking the Humanities and Social Sciences academic strand. While waiting for her application for employment in Singapore to be selected, she has been working as a restaurant helper since November 2024, where she assists with daily operations, cleanliness, and food preparation, further strengthening her discipline and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Brenda has solid domestic work experience in the Philippines. From April 2017 to March 2019, she was employed by a Filipino family living in a two-bedroom bungalow house composed of a couple and their five-year-old child. In this role, she worked as an all-around helper responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the home, doing laundry and ironing, marketing, and cooking daily meals. Her hands-on experience as a mother has made her confident in caring for newborns up to young children, including feeding, bathing, preparing school items, engaging in play, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Being a mother of two has also enhanced her skills in household management, and she is proficient in cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and cooking. She specializes in Filipino dishes and is eager to learn other cuisines to better serve future employers. Upon selection, she will undergo in-house private training in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by the OWWA seminar prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.
